Postcards from Omeli

In march 2007 I advised my 97-year old grandmother to write me every single day a postcard.

During the next three years my grandmother was an enthusiastic writer and very happy with her daily exercice. Once she said to me:

“When I`m feeling too bad, I`m not writing - but when I`m feeling too good I`m not writing neither.“

In the installation view, the very first card (March 2007) is on the bottom left, the last one (January 2010) is right on the top. When she didn`t write the space on the wall is kept free.
